Surfing Powerhouse. Ambitious. Fearless.
Meet Molly Picklum, the reigning 2025 WSL World Surfing Champion, fulfilling the promise that confirms her place as one of surfing’s brightest stars and the latest in a long line of great Australian champions.
Born and bred on the Central Coast, NSW, and now residing in Terrigal, Molly’s surfing talent was evident from a young age. Her impressive achievements and grounded personality have made her both a formidable competitor and a fan favourite on the world stage.
Since qualifying for the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour in 2022, Molly has proven herself as one of the sport’s brightest stars. After overcoming the challenges of her rookie season, she claimed back-to-back victories at the Hurley Pro Sunset Beach in 2023 and 2024, secured spots in the WSL Final 5 in both years, and made history at the 2024 Lexus Pipe Pro as the first woman to score a perfect ten at Pipeline.
Her fearless approach and consistent brilliance culminated in 2025, when Molly captured her first World Title, cementing her place among surfing’s elite. Along the way, she also represented Australia at the 2024 Olympics, further showcasing her talent on the global stage.
Molly is a professional in every sense. Committed to being the best surfer in the world and the best person she can be, she works tirelessly on her craft and herself. Inspired by former tennis champion Ash Barty, Molly remains humble, respectful, and approaches every challenge with a smile.
Though already a World Champion, Molly’s journey is just beginning—her legacy in surfing is set to grow for many years to come.
