Global Snowboarding Superstar and World Record Holder.
Meet Valentino (Val) Guseli, the 19-year-old snowboarding prodigy and World Cup Half-Pipe champion hailing from Canberra, Australia and currently residing in the New South Wales coastal town of Dalmeny.
Destined for success, Val’s parents, Kristen and Ric Guseli introduced him to the snow at 3-years-old, where his passion quickly developed, and his natural talent was identified and refined over his junior years. Val’s first big break came in 2021 when he was just 15, breaking a long standing world record for the highest snowboard Half-Pipe Air at 7.3m, a record that previously was set at 7m in 2010 by 3x Olympic Gold Medallist Shaun White. Most recently Valentino broke another world record, landing a huge 11.53m jump off a hip in Switzerland.
Making his professional debut at just 16 during the 2022/23 season, Val quickly proved why he is one of the world’s most promising snowboarders when he became the first in his sport to stand on the podium in all three of the Park and Pipe disciplines in a single season.
His success has continued through the 2023/24 season, medalling at the 2023 X Games, claiming his first major Half-Pipe event win (Calgary, Canada), and back-to-back World Cup Overall Park and Pipe Crystal Globes.
Val is aiming to make history at the 2026 Winter Olympics by being the first male athlete to go for gold in 3 separate disciplines: Half-Pipe, Slopestyle and Big Air.
Val’s meteoric rise on the scene has made him one of the most exciting young snowboarders to watch, and an incredible ambassador for snowboarding and winter sports. With a big smile on his face and an outgoing personality, Val has the talent and skills to match the best in the world.
Val is looking for brand opportunities that align with his values and personality to support his professional journey, for further details contact Harrison Taylor harrison@ncmanagement.com.au
