Anthony Quayle
Anthony Quayle is one of Australia’s leading professional golfers, combining powerful ball-striking with an impressive record across the PGA Tour of Australasia, Japan Golf Tour and DP World Tour.
Born in Port Macquarie and raised in Gove in the Northern Territory, Anthony developed his game at Hills International College near Brisbane. A highly accomplished amateur, he won the Pacific Northwest Amateur Championship in the United States, the Tasmanian Open and the Keperra Bowl before turning professional in 2017.
Anthony quickly established himself on the international stage. He is a two-time PGA Tour of Australasia champion, winning the Queensland Open in 2020 and the Queensland PGA Championship in 2022. He has also recorded several standout results internationally, including runner-up finishes at the Fiji International, The Crowns in Japan and the 2022 Mizuno Open.
His performance at the Mizuno Open secured his place in the 2022 Open Championship at the historic Old Course at St Andrews. Making his Major Championship debut, Anthony produced an outstanding performance to finish tied for 15th against the world’s best players.
Standing at 6-foot-4, Anthony’s athleticism and aggressive style of play make him an exciting competitor to watch. After a strong domestic campaign, he secured his DP World Tour card for the 2026 season and continues to compete internationally as he pursues the next chapter of his career.
